Ebook About She’ll do anything to escape an arranged marriage. He’ll do anything to help her.Honora Crauford relishes her life in India. So when her father informs her of his latest business transaction—marrying her off to a bankrupt nobleman in England—her only hope for returning home is to convince her betrothed, by whatever antics necessary, that a marriage to her comes at a cost that not even the greatest fortune can justify. Graham Whitworth can hardly believe his wretched luck. It seems the only way to save his family’s insolvent estate is to comply with his father’s demands and marry the extremely wealthy, but utterly ridiculous, nabob’s daughter. But when Honora missteps, Graham discerns her farce and begins to see who she truly is—a most impressive lady. A lady likely capable of fixing his family’s financial troubles. Realizing they both desire freedom, Graham and Honora join forces to restore the Whitworth estate and return Honora to her beloved India. But sometimes love has its own agenda, and the revoking of a once undesirable arrangement may just prove to be the greatest sacrifice of all. **Heat Level: Mild/SweetBook The Nabob's Daughter Review :
This was my first novel by Jess Heileman and I read it based off of the glowing review of a bookstagrammer I follow. I thought it was a fantastic addition to the world of sweet clean Regency romances!Nora's little act was extremely humorous to me because even as a reader I felt uncomfortable with her displays. I loved her strong character and that she wasn't afraid of being smart and well educated for a woman. She is loyal and had a good heart and was a likeable and relatable character. Her plight is one we can probably all relate to: thinking we know what we want and that we know best. And yet, given a little time and a new outlook, maybe we don't know best after all. Maybe there's a better plan for us.And Graham! Swoon. He was so fun. Flirtatious and witty and the banter between the two was so cute. One of my favorite things about this novel was that near the beginning when Graham immediately feels guilty for convincing his father to have Honora stay, I immediately felt like this was going to be the big final conflict and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't. I like characters who are quick to forgive. I don't need three chapters of angst and depression because the H&h haven't forgiven each other yet. The conflict revolves more around the stolen money than any hard feelings between the H&h which is way more enjoyable to read. There are so many things to like about this story including side characters, India, mystery, and humor. Loved it. If you like Regency romance this one is for you.Rated: squeaky clean for mild kissing The book was, overall, quite good. The details were rich, as were the characters. The members of the hero’s family felt tangible and well-developed. The quest to find out what happened to the estate also felt naturally entwined with the primary romance plot.My two minor complaints would probably be regarding the POV and the ending. I already dislike first-person stories for historical romances, and having it first-person and split between two perspectives just made things worse. This might be a personal preference, but I strongly believe the book would have benefited from a third-person limited dual POV.My second issue is with the resolution. After a long and winding build up, the resolution felt awkward and rushed. It was unexpected for me, since this author handled resolutions well in her other books. The happy ending was satisfactory, but the events that happened to get to that happy ending did not feel wholly convincing.I would still recommend the book, since it was a good read. But the two things I mentioned above keep the book firmly in the “good” category rather than in “favorites.” Read Online The Nabob's Daughter Download The Nabob's Daughter The Nabob's Daughter PDF The Nabob's Daughter Mobi Free Reading The Nabob's Daughter Download Free Pdf The Nabob's Daughter PDF Online The Nabob's Daughter Mobi Online The Nabob's Daughter Reading Online The Nabob's Daughter Read Online Jess Heileman Download Jess Heileman Jess Heileman PDF Jess Heileman Mobi Free Reading Jess Heileman Download Free Pdf Jess Heileman PDF Online Jess Heileman Mobi Online Jess Heileman Reading Online Jess HeilemanBest Heart And Soul: A Small Town Fake Relationship Romance (Angel Sands Book 8) By Carrie Elks
